HOUSTON — Boutique dining, Asian and Southern fusion cuisine, and tasty drinks? All roads lead to Doves Restaurant, a new chic dining concept in Midtown Houston. The new restaurant will have a grand opening celebration on Friday, August 23.

Located at 3101 Main Street, Doves brings an upscale boutique dining experience to Midtown, combining high-end glamour with surrealist décor and an opulent menu. The restaurant will offer a distinctive culinary experience with premium modern dishes, handcrafted cocktails, and live entertainment from midday until late night. The gorgeous space accommodates 94 guests and includes a stylish second-level dining terrace and a private outdoor patio, perfect for intimate gatherings and private events.

Designed by Nicki Dooms of NHI Design, Doves’ interiors features rich emerald hues, tea-lit tables, and marble and gold accents, creating a luxurious ambiance reminiscent of boutique dining venues in New York City and Los Angeles. This carefully curated setting enhances the entire dining experience, perfectly complementing the restaurant’s distinct culinary offerings.

The menu at Doves features a contemporary twist on nostalgic Southern dishes with an Asian flair, including sharable small plates like Sweet Chili Calamari, Curry Lamb Tacos, and Gumbo Dumplings. Guests can also enjoy fresh soups and salads, such as the Coconut Curry Crab Bisque and Asian Pear Salad, along with entrees ranging from a 32oz Tomahawk to Shrimp and Lobster Garlic Noodles to Teriyaki Glazed Lamb, all beautifully presented, including tableside techniques.

Doves Restaurant is the brainchild of Fred Wilson of Wilson Hospitality Group and his partner Samuel Williamson of GoldCoast Properties. Wilson, a Port Arthur native and long-time Houston resident, brings extensive experience in hospitality and business to the venture, with a diverse portfolio that includes logistics, commercial real estate, tax services, and a wellness spa. Williamson, originally from St. Louis, Missouri, draws on his rich family legacy in the restaurant industry and owns multiple real estate properties across Houston, Atlanta, and St. Louis.

“We are thrilled to introduce Doves Restaurant to Midtown Houston,” said Fred Wilson. “We’ve poured our hearts into creating this space where guests can enjoy extraordinary cuisine and exceptional service in a truly unique and luxurious setting.”

“Doves is more than just a dining venue; it’s an experience,” added Samuel Williamson. “We are proud to bring this intimate, boutique dining concept to life and look forward to welcoming guests to enjoy the magic we’ve created.”
