“One monkey don’t stop no show.”

The saying is transparent as it is the Black version of “time and life are going to keep going on and on” like an Erykah Badu song. Whatever you’re doing in life, the highs and the lows, circumstances won’t dictate your forward movement. You have to keep “moving on” like Mya and Silkk the Shocker. Kaboom!

Eddie Murphy found success in Hollywood with films like Trading Places (1983), Beverly Hills Cop (1984), and The Golden Child (1986). However, despite becoming a cult classic, the film Harlem Nights bombed at the box office. It wasn’t until The Nutty Professor (1996) and Dr. Dolittle (1998) that catapulted his name back to prominence. He received his first Oscar nomination in 2007 for his role in Dreamgirls.

2 tablespoon parsley

Salt as required

9 clove

1 teaspoon garlic

1/2 teaspoon rosemary

1/4 teaspoon lemon juice

black pepper as required

1/2 teaspoon sugar

Now, here’s what to do:

Place a pan over medium flame and sprinkle some olive oil in it. Once the oil is hot, place the fish fillets in it. Let the fillets cook and sprinkle salt, 1/4 teaspoon of sugar and black pepper and add lemon juice over it. Grill it on both sides and once the fillets turn crispy, transfer them on a plate.

  • Prepare the sauce

For the sauce, place a pan over medium flame and add cloves in it. Roast them lightly and then transfer them to a grinder jar. Grind them to form a coarse powdered mixture. Now, place another pan over medium flame and add butter along with chopped garlic to it. Saute these well until the butter melts and then add ground cloves, remaining sugar along with salt and black pepper powder over it. Mix it well until the mixture turns aromatic.

  • Pour the garlic butter sauce over the grilled fish (or on the side in a cup if you’re counting calories)
