2021 super p&e

On the surface, Jay Bradley is an accomplished real estate broker and philanthropist in the community. Though Jay is known for his polished demeanor, his clients describe him as upbeat and passionate in pursuing their real estate goals and dreams. That passion applies to finding a first home for young families, just as it has in securing the Houston location of the acclaimed restaurant Sweetie Pie’s for high-profile client Miss Robbie Montgomery. Jay’s clients are confident they can trust him to treat them with honesty and respect, truly listen to their wishes, and guide them to optimum results in their real estate purchase or sale process. And they know traveling with Jay on their commercial or residential real estate journey will always be a memorable experience brightened by his optimism and great sense of humor.

A Houston resident for more than two decades, Jay knows the market well. His real estate expertise spans over 20 years and benefits from his background as a restaurateur and technology sales professional; both of which taught him the arts and satisfaction of communication and negotiation. Drawn to the real estate profession by his desire to help people, he has embarked on various philanthropic initiatives to renovate and revitalize the Houston community. Most recently he was featured in the Houston Chronicle for the “Buying the Block” initiative, in which he collaborated with developers to revitalize 5th Ward. The project initially launched as a new construction build, which included building an entire townhome community. Jay played a key role in marketing and attracting the young professionals to be homeowners in the project. Not only has Jay utilized his real estate expertise for his philanthropic efforts, but he has acquired several commercial spaces to further provide economic opportunities in underserved communities.

Jay is also proof that a guy who is often known for great fashion and colorful hats can be a top producer.  During his impressive real estate career, he has led a team of 40+ plus agents. Along the way, he has amassed a comprehensive roster of professionals in just about every field. His clients and colleagues alike appreciate his ability to use his vast network of contacts to find solutions to client needs before, during, and after the real estate transaction. Most recently, Jay was elected to the 2021 Board of Directors for the Houston Realtors Association (HAR) and appointed to the Texas Association of Realtors (TAR). He plans to leverage his position to provide equality for African Americans within the real estate arena, extending his platform to create opportunities for others.

A single dad, Jay spends a significant amount of time working with youth programs, including the Windsor Village Boys Rites of Passage, and he has always been involved as a volunteer and mentor at schools and churches. He is proud to be on the approved volunteer list for the Houston Independent School District and other independent school districts in the area.

Jay recently tried his hand at love on the Oprah Winfrey Network’s (OWN) hit show Ready to Love: Last Resort. While it was an amazing experience, his quest for love continues. However, in the meantime, if you are in the market for a new commercial property for your business, a new home, or currently selling a property, Jay will serve you with the utmost professionalism, heart, and expertise, all while making the process enjoyable.
