Kris Green aka “KG Smooth” was born and raised in Dayton, OH, the birthplace of funk music. KG Smooth is a multi-talented host and radio personality, earning award-winning status for not only his recognizable smooth voice and acclaimed talents on the mic, but his work ethic behind the scenes in the media business.
KG Smooth got his start in radio in 2000 in Cincinnati, OH, at WIZF on 101.1, The Wiz. He then climbed up the radio ladder, gracing the mic in Cleveland, OH, Columbus, GA, and Atlanta, GA. KG Smooth continues to shake up the airwaves in Houston as the ultimate host!
With a mellifluous voice, charm, charisma, and humility, he has earned his mark as a staple here in the city of Houston and nationally, interviewing not only Houston local talent and celebrities, but covering national star power and notable events.
