R&B star SZA seems to be riding the wave lately since the release of her latest album, S.O.S., which dropped at midnight on Dec. 9.
Of course, that means she is back on the press circuit following her critically acclaimed debut, Ctrl.
She recently opened about her past relationship with rapper Drake, whose recent collaboration with 21 Savage and Metro Boomin, had music heads turning based on the track “Mr. Right Now.” The song is lifted from the album Savage Mode II.
The lyrics in question said,
Recently, SZA was a guest performer on Saturday Night Live where actress Keke Palmer was the guest host.
During a particular skit, that featured Palmer, parodied Drake’s reputation for name-dropping women he’s had prior relationships with by way of his music. Check it out below:
Apparently, Big Tigger had questions of his post the comedic skit to where SZA said,
Actress Rachel McAdams made Regina George a famous character in cinematic culture during 2004’s Mean Girls, opposite Lindsay Lohan.
That’s where the singer made a very interesting comparison between Drake and George saying,
“The Weekend” songstress continued,
Despite the time that has passed between the two and their careers, SZA said she was given a notice prior to the song’s release describing their current relationship as “cool,”
