Big Slim, the Nawf’s prominent figure, recently hosted a festive Holiday Party & Toy Drive at Baytown’s newest Checkers location. Partnering with Checkers in 2022, Big Slim introduced his exclusive meal, The Big Slim Meal, featuring The Texas Bacon Buford, Checkers Famous Seasoned Fries, and a drink in a limited-edition 44 oz collector cup. Collaborating for four years, Checkers and Big Slim have consistently organized community initiatives across Houston.
In the previous year, their joint efforts resulted in the collection of over 500 toys and gifts for local children. This year, Slim Thug & Checkers surpassed that achievement, gathering 500 toys donated to the Baytown Police Department for distribution among the community’s kids. The event, held at 6199 Decker Drive, Baytown, Texas, was open to the public, offering food, prizes, giveaways, snow courtesy of the Baytown Police Department, and a special meet and greet with The Grinch. Notable guests included Slim’s friends, The Black Santa of Houston, and LaTavia Roberson of Destiny’s Child, adding to the festive atmosphere and spreading holiday joy.
