HOUSTON — Election Day is fast approaching and several organizations are coming together to see who will become the next leaders in our local communities, as well as our country.
If you don’t want to stay home Tuesday night or need somewhere to go after casting your ballot, here is a list of watch parties we found in the Houston area:

- CITIZEN 2024 Presidential Election Watch Party Hosted by Emerging 100 Houston, Houston Area Urban League Young Professionals, the 100 Black Men of Metropolitan Houston, NAACP – Houston Branch, and the Southwest Black Law Students Association – Lustre Pearl, 2106 Dallas St., Houston, TX 77003, 6 p.m.
- Prairie View A&M University Student Government Association’s 2024 Election Night Lock-In – 700 University Dr., Prairie View, TX 77446, MSC Auditorium, 7:30 p.m.
- Texas Southern University’s School of Public Affairs’ Election Night 2024 Live Watch Party – 3100 Cleburne St., Houston, TX 77004, Room 114, doors open from 5:15 – 7:30 p.m.
- Rice University – Election Day block party hosted by a coalition of student organizations from 12-4 p.m. in the Academic Quad, election night watch party will be held at 7 p.m. in Sid Richardson College Commons, 6100 Main St., Houston, TX 77005
- Houston Election Day Watch Party at Club NOTO – 3215 McKinney St., Houston, TX 77003, 8 p.m.
- Lone Star College-Kingwood Election Night Watch Party – 20000 Kingwood Dr., Porter, TX 77339, 6 – 9 p.m.
- Human Rights Campaign – Tom’s Watch Bar, 1201 Caroline St., Houston, TX 77002, 6:30 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.
