HOUSTON’s NON-PROFIT EXECUTIVE, LIDYA KUSHNER OSADCHEY, APPOINTED INTERIM CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER  OF THE YWCA HOUSTON

 

(Houston, September 26, 2018) Lidya Kushner Osadchey, a credentialed executive coach, leadership development consultant and a veteran non-profit executive, has been appointed Interim Chief Executive Officer of one of the oldest social and human services organizations in Houston, Young Women’s Christian Association. It turned 111 years old this year.

 

In announcing the appointment, YWCA’s Board Chair, Jacqueline Bostic McElroy stated, “The Board of Directors is very pleased to welcome Lidya.  Her passion and commitment to the non-profit community is reflective of the YWCA’s mission. We are excited that she is leading our organization.”

As a seasoned professional with more than 30 years of success in founding, building up and leading high performing organizations, Ms. Osadchey brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the staff and board of the YWCA. Passionate about her work, she believes companies and nonprofit organizations flourish when their leaders not only excel at their technical expertise but demonstrate a high level of 21-century relevant managerial knowledge and emotional intelligence.

 

Ms. Osadchey is the owner and principal of Kushner Advisors, LLC. She is highly sought as the expert in executive coaching, transition coaching and in organizational “turnaround”. Ms. Osadchey is the Senior Fellow with the American Leadership Forum; a graduate of the FBI Citizens Academy; a certified mediator with the Dispute Resolution Center; the advanced Birkman Method consultant, and an ACC credentialed executive coach by the International Coach Federation.  She is a graduate of Rice University and University of Houston.
