The upcoming event will provide educators with the opportunity to:
- Get a job offer right on the spot.
- Meet directly with principals and district leaders to explore job openings.
- Learn about competitive salaries, among the highest in the nation.
- Discover career pathways through HISD’s Alternative Certification Program.

HISD’s first hiring event had over 1,125 attendees. Out of those, 250 educators received immediate recommendations for positions, including 43 combined recommendations for Pre-K, bilingual, and special education roles, district officials said.

“We were thrilled by the turnout and enthusiasm we saw at our first event,” said Chief Human Resources Officer Jessica Neyman. “Houston ISD is committed to attracting top educators. With our strong support system and competitive salaries, we know we can build a stronger future for our students.”
