The Houston Black Real Estate Association (HBREA) proudly presents its Bi-Annual Awards and Installation Scholarship Gala on April 22, 2023. HBREA always does it big, and this is a night celebrating a cause, providing scholarships, honoring our community, and inspiring growth and education. HBREA is acknowledging its 74 years of impactful work, leading the charge for minority communities in education and empowering the dream of home ownership.

The evening will acknowledge the Premier Black Network of HBREA and their two Affiliate organizations; The Women’s Council of HBREA and The Young Realtist Division. The Affiliate organizations both have done and continue to do profound work in supporting financial literacy, education initiatives, and leadership skill-building that are necessary for the industry, as well as our community at large.

HBREA understands that to go forward, there has to be a driving force in creating the momentum that will continue to impact our economy and grow our wealth for generations to come. As HBREA celebrates the work that has been done, they also look forward to Reset & Align for Greater, as that is the theme of the night. The organization’s new strategic initiative to create a prosperous vision of the future will reset what they know with connectivity, ingenuity, and productivity so that membership and the community can reimagine what is and what can be. With a vision, the HBREA can align strategic relationships, partnerships, and collaborations to create sustainability and economic growth. Through the vision of Reset & Align, our entrepreneurs, small businesses, families, and communities of color can have equity in their aspirations and in the pursuit of the American Dream. So as HBREA celebrates, they will also award those who have selflessly contributed to the organization and provide scholarships to deserving individuals who are preparing to enter into various careers on the real estate path. This scholarship is helping to empower real estate professionals who can Reset & Align for a better future. Another highlight of the evening is a special recognition for the Top 20 Black Real Estate Professionals in the Greater Houston area who have worked tirelessly to make homeownership for many a possibility.

HBREA is proven in helping to steer our communities to the abundance and prosperity we know is possible to achieve. As a part of the oldest minority trade association in America, HBREA understands the importance of building a strong foundation to work on and continue to build up from.

Anyone (not just real estate professionals) is welcome to be a member of the HBREA. For businesses, organizations, and community members who participate and partner with HBREA in its endeavors, the impact of the collaboration will continue to overflow into all parts of our community and contribute to making our great city of Houston all the better.

Don’t miss HBREA’s 74th Installation & Scholarship Gala on April 22, 2023. The Master of Ceremony is Houston’s own Madd Hatta and keeping the party going all night is DJ Rob G “The General”. The keynote speaker is acclaimed author, activist, and academic Maggie Anderson. For more information on tickets and sponsorship opportunities, please visit www.hbreagala.org.
