Mobile Farmers’ Market Launches in Third Ward – Collaboration between AHA, Urban Harvest, and Trinity United Methodist

It is with a happy heart that the American Heart Association announces the launch of a Mobile Farmers’ Market in the Third Ward. This collaboration with Urban Harvest and Trinity United Methodist Church kicks off next Saturday, June 26 – one week after the Juneteenth celebration.
The market will run every fourth Saturday from June 2021 – October 2021, increasing access to healthy, nutrient-dense foods and nutrition education in a neighborhood known for higher levels of food insecurity.
