Welcome to the Community Baby Shower—an afternoon of celebration, connection, and care designed to honor expectant families and strengthen the support systems that surround them. As part of the THRIVE Tour Initiative and our partnership with the Maternal and Child Health Conference, this event brings together community members, health professionals, and local partners under the theme “Curating Change, Transforming Communities, Building Healthier Families.”

Join us on April 19, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Finnigan Park Community Center and the YET Building (4900 Providence St., Houston, TX 77020) for a heart-filled gathering where you can:

• Connect with fellow parents and caregivers over light refreshments and fun icebreaker activities
• Learn from experts on perinatal support, safe sleep practices, mental health resources, and fatherhood engagement
• Explore child-friendly “Kids’ Corner” activities, giving little ones a space to play while you focus on your well-being
• Participate in giveaways and receive essential baby shower supplies to support your journey
