Fort Bend Leaders, Community Organization Host 1,000+ Backpack and supplies Back-to-School Drive
August 3 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
On Saturday, August 3 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Landmark Community Center (100 Louisiana St., Missouri City, TX 77489), local organizations and community leaders are giving out 1,000+ backpacks preloaded with school supplies. Those needing a backpack and school supplies can register here and items will be handed out while supplies last!
“This Back to School Backpack Drive can only happen because of our local community leaders and organizations coming together. Let’s help our neighbors out as schools open soon,” State Rep. Ron Reynolds said.
“Fort Bend is great because of our residents. I’m proud to help our 1,000 families get ready for back to school with a backpack and supplies drive,” said Taral Patel, Democratic nominee for Precinct 3 Commissioner. “It is incumbent on us as a community to make sure the next generation is ready, so ‘let’s keep Fort Bend moving forward.'”
