HOUSTON — No ride to the polls? No problem!
Registered voters can enjoy a free roundtrip to vote in the 2024 elections on a local bus, METRORail, METRO curb2curb and METROLift.
Riders can show their voter ID or other approved documentation to the bus operator or fare inspector.
To assist voters in finding their way to a polling location, METRO has teamed up with Vote Houston to offer nonpartisan and educational information to registered voters. For more details, visit VoteHouston.org.
Free rides will be available within METRO’s service area during: Early Voting: Monday, Oct. 21 – Friday, Nov. 1, and Election Day: Tuesday, Nov. 5.
