EDWARD POLLARD

2021 TRAILBLAZER

Attorney Edward Pollard, 36, is truly making his mark in Houston, Texas. Not only is he a Houston City Council Member, as well as the co-founder of the nonprofit organization Suits for Success, but he also is the owner of  Pollard Legal Group, LLC, one of the fastest growing and thriving personal injury law firms in the city. In 2018, Edward opened Pollard Legal Group after impressively growing his clientele through social media and online platforms. Several years ago he noticed that most law firms only marketed through traditional avenues of advertising such as radio, television, billboards, and newspapers. However, he also realized that his millennial-age peer group and the Generation Z that followed, were more immersed in social media than anything else. Therefore, Edward decided to fill that void by marketing on Facebook, Instagram, and other social sites where there were very few other law firms advertising. The decision to target social media paid off, and in just a few short years, Pollard Legal Group has become a multi-million dollar firm.

His practice primarily focuses on auto accidents and premises liability. Edward is extremely passionate about the well-being of others and brings that passion directly to the cases he handles for his clients. He believes that each client should feel like a priority, and he makes himself available and accessible to his clients throughout the entire case. Edward understands that the only time someone calls him regarding a legal matter is because they are in need of help. As such, he diligently works to understand their needs and provides the vigorous representation and attention they deserve. He relentlessly works to get every client as much compensation as he can for their loss, most recently, assisting in obtaining a $1,000,000.00 dollar settlement for his clients against a well-known rideshare company.

Edward is a native Houstonian and proud product of all HISD schools. He received his undergraduate degree in political science, graduating with honors from Morehouse College. In 2012, he earned his Juris Doctorate from Thurgood Marshall School of Law, graduating with honors. In 2018, Edward attained his Certificate in Negotiation Mastery from Harvard Business School. In his free time, he enjoys sports, movies, and spending time with his wife Vanessa and two children Nadia and EJ.
