Local production company, KVK Productions is responsible for several notable reality shows on various networks, but their efforts to contribute to the celebration of the freedom of African-Americans is the reality they want to encourage others to be a part of. This Saturday, June 20, 2020 KVK Productions will host a Black Ride from Brookshire Texas to Galveston Texas to celebrate Juneteenth which is when slaves in Texas were freed. The ride will consist of a peaceful ride for a duration of 155 miles in celebration of the 155th year the slaves were freed. The community is asked to meet Brookshire Brothers- 3523 S Front St, Brookshire, TX 77423

Riders are asked to gather at 10:00 AM for a 10:30 AM departure which will include influencers, notable guests, and the community riding through various cities leading up to Galveston where the ride will end. During this time, riders are asked to reflect on the history of African-Americans, gather their thoughts on how to better the future, and think of those who have lost their lives due to racial injustice. “We are thrilled to host this event for the community as it is a true celebration of freedom. With so much going on in the world, peace, unity, and freedom is at the forefront of our minds, said founder of KVK Productions”
